Online Registration for Training Labs

The Training Lab - (Recommended) Oct 1 - Nov 3

We wholeheartedly recommend that you take time in October to attend the lab session(s) of your choice. Nothing will make you more confident or more prepared to handle your responsibilities on Election Day than practice on the various aspects of precinct operations whether it’s managing the equipment, the paperwork, or processing the DTS & Provisional voters.

Since space is limited, we ask you to sign up—online, by phoning 650-286-2810 or emailing your class requests to pollworkertraining@smcare.org

Thanks again for your service. We couldn’t do this without you.

TRAINING LAB INFORMATION

  1. Your attendance at any lab is voluntary.

  2. You are strongly encouraged to make a reservation for class(es).

  3. There are three ways to sign-up. The simplest way is to click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page, which we hope you'll do! You may also call (650) 286-2810 or send an email to pollworkertraining@smcare.org indicating which class, time and location that you're signing up for after reviewing the schedule that's been mailed to you or the one on this page.

  4. Classes will be held at the Elections Office at 40 Tower Road in San Mateo during the month of October.

  5. Classes will be held during the day, on some evenings, and on Saturdays.

  6. Class size is limited, so please make your reservation early.

     7.  Election Officers who attend four hours of eSlate focused lab training will get the title and           the distinction of becoming an "eJudge" or "eInspector" in recognition of the time and                effort they devote to mastering the electronic voting equipment."
