Welcome
We will post the semi-official results for all contests in the Presidential Primary Election on February 5, 2008 beginning at 8:05 p.m with Vote by Mail returns, followed by a report at 8:30 p.m. with Vote by Mail Precinct returns, a report at 9:00 p.m. from the Universal Voting Centers and live precinct reports beginning at 9:30 p.m. New reports will be issued every half hour until all results are in. You can view our detailed reporting schedule here.
Between the report updates, take a look at some of the cool reporting features on our Web site. Poke through our blog postings. Watch the Tally Room Cam. The Precinct Tracker lets you know the status of each precinct in the county - are ballots at the polls, a receiving station, elections headquarters at Tower Road, or already in the count? It's our way to provide you with greater transparency and access to the election as it is happening.
For those of you that like to compare statistics with prior election years, take a look at the Results Archive. Choose an election and compare turnout, voter and party registration, candidates and results from prior years.
The vote count will become official upon the completion of the Canvass of the Vote, an audit of the vote that takes place during the 28 days following the election. Once the results are certified, you may download the Statement of the Vote from our Web site and review it.
